Community Trust Bank names new Lexington advisory board member

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Anne Gay Donworth was named a new Community Trust Bank Advisory Board member in the Lexington market, Larry Jones, Lexington market president, announced Monday.

Donworth is the director of development of the Lexington Public Library Foundation. She is a partner of Scarteen Stud, LLC, a full service thoroughbred breeding and boarding operation in Scott County, Ky.

Donworth graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in history.

Her current community service includes membership in the Lexington Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Town Branch Park Partners Committee, Downtown Lexington Partnership Advisory Board, Good Shepherd Day School (Board of Directors), On The Table Planning Committee, Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton’s Transition Team for Planning, Preservation, and Development, and the Rotary Club of Lexington.

She was a program participant in Leadership Lexington, 2016-17.

Donworth’s past community service includes volunteering for Explorium of Lexington, Lexington Public Library Foundation Young Professionals, Young Friends of the Bluegrass Conservancy, The Lexington School Alumni Council and Sustained Dialogue.
