Blackhawk Composites Inc., a startup manufacturer of advanced aerospace composite parts, held grand opening ceremonies last month for its new operations in Morgantown. Blackhawk, which was established in September 2009, is leasing a 40,000-s.f. facility to manufacture parts for the Cessna Caravan, a large single-engine turboprop that is used for executive and cargo transport. The company expects to create 30 new jobs within the first year.
