Murray State University recognized as one of ‘America’s Best Colleges’ by Forbes for 12 consecutive years

Forbes magazine has recognized Murray State University on their America’s Best Colleges list for 2019. This marks the 12th consecutive year the University has been included on the prestigious list since its inception.

MURRAY, Ky. — Forbes Magazine has recognized Murray State University on its “America’s Best Colleges” list for 2019. This marks the 12th consecutive year the University has been included on the prestigious list since its inception.

The rankings are based on several categories, including on-time graduation rate, academic success, student satisfaction, alumni salary and student loan debt.

Murray State, located in western Kentucky, offers 143 academic programs within six diverse colleges for undergraduate and graduate students seeking to achieve their personal and professional aspirations. Students come from 46 countries and 45 states.

Based on recent University reports, 69% of Murray State graduates are employed within three months, and 23% of graduates continued their education within three months of graduation.

Murray State offers on-campus courses at its main Murray location as well as five regional campuses and educational presences in Paducah, Henderson, Madisonville, Hopkinsville and Fort Campbell.
