KCTCS director of cultural diversity reappointed to state board

VERSAILLES, Ky. — Natalie Gibson, director of cultural diversity for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) has been reappointed by Governor Matt Bevin to the Kentucky African-American Heritage Commission.

Gibson, who has a doctorate in education, will represent institutions of higher learning and serve for a term expiring Feb. 1, 2022.

She joined KCTCS as the director of cultural diversity at Somerset Community College in 2005. She assumed her current role in 2008.

This is her fourth term on the commission.
