CONVERGE Louisville conference to examine aging care and wellness collaborations

LOUISVILLE – With billions in revenue, Louisville’s health care sector has the nation’s largest concentration of aging care headquarters and companies. Forbes Magazine named Louisville America’s Aging Capital.

A one-day conference Wednesday at the University of Louisville will examine collaboration opportunities within this uniquely strong sector. CONVERGE Louisville takes place at the UofL Swain Student Activities Center Ball Room, 2100 S. Floyd St.

According to the organizing Health Enterprise Network, CONVERGE Louisville is a driver for the progressive collaborations that are needed to shape the future of aging care. With the over-65 population expected to triple by 2030, it’s imperative that Louisville leads the way in creating the innovative solutions required to meet this challenge, according to HEN.

CONVERGE Louisville, is a one-day conference focused on aging innovations. This year, distinguished presenters will lead sessions in stand-alone and panel discussion formats to discuss and explore innovative solutions for the social and clinical determinants of health affecting today’s aging population.

Clinical and business professionals will convene to discover and ideate innovative and progressive collaborations from both sides of the patient care model at the epicenter of aging innovation. Now in its second year, CONVERGE Louisville is part of Health Enterprises Network’s (HEN) Aging & Innovation theme initiative.

HEN is a Greater Louisville health care network. Its mission is to champion and foster the growth of the Greater Louisville Region’s health care economy.
