New demo’s and record attendance expected in Louisville for GIE+EXPO Oct. 16-18

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) is the country’s largest showcase for outdoor power equipment, lawn and garden products and light construction equipment. The tradeshow returns to Louisville Oct. 16-18, and is held in conjunction with Hardscape North America at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

A record attendance is expected to be set at this year’s event, as early bird registration reached an all-time high. Over 24,000 participants are projected to be at the show this year.

Free Parking – Show organizers have arranged free parking for all of those who are attending this year’s event.

20+ Acre Outdoor Demonstration Area – Attendees can look at different products inside, then head on over to the outdoor demonstration area to test and compare those products for themselves.

Arborist Demos – The Women’s Tree Climbing Workshop will teach attendees professional climbing techniques on a 40-foot tree inside Freedom Hall.

Mutt Madness – The Kentucky Humane Society returns with Mutt Madness in Freedom Hall for a second year. Take a break from the show, and play with rescue dogs and even adopt a potential new best friend. Eleven dogs found new homes thanks to last year’s event.

Giveaways – Attendees will have the opportunity to enter two huge giveaways at GIE+EXPO this year. Mercedes-Benz is giving away $20,000 for their Fabulous Friday Giveaway, while the $15,000 UTV Giveaway will reward one lucky winner their choice of a UTV manufactured by a participating sponsor.

Concert Series – Cassadee Pope, Easton Corbin and The Crashers are all performing as a part of the GIE+EXPO concert series at Fourth Street Live. This concert series is taking place every night of the tradeshow, and is open to all attendees.

GIE+EXPO is closed to the public. For more information, visit www.gie-expo.com.
