Bevin makes appointment to Workers’ Compensation Board

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Gov. Matt Bevin has appointed B. Dale Hamblin Jr. to the Workers’ Compensation Board to serve for a term expiring Jan. 4, 2024. Hamblin replaces Rebekkah Rechter, whose term expires Jan. 3, 2020.

“Dale Hamblin is brilliant, fair-minded, and an outstanding writer. He will be a strong addition to the Workers’ Compensation Board,” said Department of Workers’ Claims Commissioner Robert L. Swisher.

Hamblin has worked for the Department of Workers’ Claims since 2006 and currently serves as general counsel in the Workers’ Claims Legal Division. His term as a member of the Workers’ Compensation Board will begin Jan. 4, 2020.
