The Bottom Line: Beshear to speak at Kentucky Chamber Day Dinner

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Gov. Andy Beshear and the state’s top legislative leaders will discuss the upcoming session and what Kentuckians can expect in the year ahead for the state’s economy, government and politics at the 25th Kentucky Chamber Day Dinner Jan. 9 at the Lexington Convention Center.

More than 1,500 Kentucky business leaders are scheduled to attend the dinner, which takes place two days after the 2020 General Assembly convenes. The event, presented by Fidelity Investments, will be held in Heritage Hall on the lower level at the Convention Center.

Senate President Robert Stivers, Speaker of the House David Osborne, Senate Minority Leader Morgan McGarvey and House Minority Leader Joni Jenkins will each speak on the 2020 General Assembly.

Beshear will give the closing remarks at the event. 

Kentucky Chamber Chairman Nick Rowe, president of Kentucky American Water, and Chamber President and CEO Ashli Watts will also offer remarks regarding the Kentucky Chamber’s priorities for 2020.
