LEXINGTON, Ky. — Andrew Windsor has joined Community Trust and Investment Co.’s Wealth and Trust Management team as vice president, portfolio manager, Andy D. Waters, president and CEO of CTIC announced Friday.
As a key member of the Wealth and Trust Management team, Windsor is responsible for the research and selection of mutual funds, ETFs and individual securities, contributing to the overall direction of the investment department, and communicating the investment strategy and results to clients. His office is located at 100 East Vine Street in downtown Lexington.
With over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, Windsor will be an extraordinary asset to the investment department, Waters said.
“Mr. Windsor brings a wealth of skills and knowledge to Community Trust and Investment Company,” Waters said. “We are looking forward to the opportunity to introduce him to our current and future clients, as we feel Andrew is a great complement to our existing investment team.”
Windsor earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Acadia University located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, which is the highest designation one can receive in the financial industry. He is the third CFA charter holder on the Community Trust team.
Windsor grew up in Southern Ontario, Canada and moved to the U.S. in 1998. He lives in Lexington and enjoys traveling, going to the lake, and spending time with his wife and two children.
