Buckhorn Inc., an Ohio-based company that produces reusable plastic containers and pallet systems for material handling, has announced that it will close its Shelbyville injection-molding plant by the end of the year, eliminating 88 jobs. The closing is part of a cost-cutting plan being implemented by Buckhorn’s parent company, Myers Industries Inc., that involves realigning production to reduce expenditures. The Shelbyville operations will be moved to other Myers facilities in North America.
