LEXINGTON, Ky. — Wrigley Media Group, a modern media company that conceives, creates, composes and distributes all forms of media content, has announced David Bertram as chief revenue officer.

Having started his career at the Kentucky-based Host Communications, Bertram brings nearly three decades of experience in sports marketing, multi-media-rights management and leadership to Wrigley Media.

“From producing feature films, long-form TV shows and short-form social videos, to partnering with internationally known brands to tell their stories in new ways, Wrigley Media Group fulfills the vast marketing needs for properties large and small,” said Bertram. “I have worked with many on the Wrigley Media team for over 20 years and have had the opportunity to watch the company’s growth. I look forward to being part of the team that will move forward and bring more prominence to Wrigley Media Group’s stance as the new hybrid of award-winning production, evolved content and one-stop shop of storytelling.”

Following his start with Host Communications, Bertram’s career includes leading IMG College’s national-collegiate-properties division and serving as executive director of NCAA Football.

Past roles include CEO of Volar Video and vice president of Total Campus Marketing for JMI Sports’ University of Kentucky property.

A graduate of UK with a master’s in sports marketing, Bertram is a previous adjunct instructor for his alma mater. He also serves as chairman of the Bluegrass Sports Commission.

Wrigley Media Group CEO Jayne Hancock said, “Wrigley Media Group doesn’t just ‘make’ media. We create bold new media paradigms for mass consumption. David’s relationships in the sports, events and marketing industries enable him to seek out brands that match Wrigley Media’s out-of-the-box approach to fearlessly connect the world with high-impact content.”

Under Hancock’s leadership, Wrigley Media Group has grown exponentially. Notable projects include executive producing The Stand-In starring Drew Barrymore; creating original content with talent such as Vanilla Ice and Steve Zahn; and working with marquee clients from the United States Polo Association, NBCUniversal and Breeders’ Cup to the University of Kentucky.
