VERSAILLES, Ky. — Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) employees from across the state have selected Rhonda Rose, human resources specialist from Maysville Community and Technical College, to represent them on the KCTCS Board of Regents.

“Maysville Community and Technical College has been my home for over 21 years,” Rose said. “I strongly believe in the mission of the college and KCTCS. The staff of KCTCS plays a vital role in fulfilling the organizational mission, vision and values. It is integral that staff, like faculty, are well represented and have the opportunity to provide valuable input.”

Rose was elected in a special election to fill a seat left vacant by a former staff regent who became a faculty member. The KCTCS Board of Regents has two staff members, two faculty members and two student members in addition to members appointed by the governor.

“It’s very important for the board to have input from staff and faculty as we discuss the future of KCTCS,” Board Chair Gail Henson said. “Rhonda brings a wealth of experience to the position, and we all look forward to working with her.”

Rose’s term expires October 2021.
