Kentucky American Water names senior superintendent of operations

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky American Water has announced the appointment of Charles Dick as senior superintendent of operations for the company’s Central Division.

In this position, Dick will supervise the company’s field operations in Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Harrison, Jessamine, Nicholas, Scott and Woodford counties and will report to senior manager of operations, Justin Sensabaugh.

Dick graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., and then began his career with the City of Somerset, Kentucky’s utility operations. Dick served as manager of water and wastewater for the city for several years before transitioning to manager of Somerset Gas Service. Dick eventually served as manager of utilities with the City of Somerset for several years before joining South Carolina-based firm Envirosmart as a project manager.

Dick was born in Louisville. He was raised in Somerset where he lives with his teenage daughter.
