The Louisville Division of Kroger Co. has pledged $1.5 million to the University of Louisville (UofL) to reduce hunger and waste in Kentucky. The program named Kroger Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Fund at UofL will assist with diversity and inclusion, food security and sustainability, and leadership development. The Louisville division employs nearly half a million in 116 food stores in Kentucky, southern Indiana, and southern Illinois.
