Louisville Airport Authority board officers announced

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — At the annual meeting of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority Board in July, Mayor Greg Fischer appointed Dale Boden as chair of the board. In addition, the board elected Pat MacDonald as vice chair and Nikki R. Lanier as its secretary-treasurer.

Boden is president and CEO of B F Capital Inc., a Louisville-based private investment firm that primarily invests in real estate, venture capital and private equity backed companies where it can provide equity capital and management assistance. Since founding B F Capital in 1993, Boden has overseen investments in more than 85 companies and partnerships and has served on numerous private and several public company boards. Currently, Boden also serves as vice chair of the James Graham Brown Cancer Center Advisory Board (past chair), as a member of the University of Louisville College of Business Board of Advisors, and as a member of the University of Louisville’s President Council.

MacDonald was elected vice chair and has served on the Airport Authority Board since 2017. He is a successful entrepreneur and venture capitalist with more than 30 years of experience in the high tech, medical device and private equity sectors. MacDonald currently serves as president of the Kentucky Aviation Historical Society and Bowman Field Foundation, a not-for-profit organization. He is also a private pilot.

Following her appointment to the board in 2015, Lanier was elected its secretary-treasurer this year. She is the senior vice president and regional executive of the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, which focuses on community development and education, regional economic research and policy input. Lanier previously served as secretary of the personnel cabinet for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, chief human resources officer for Charter Schools USA and in various other positions in both the healthcare and legal fields.
