Owensboro, Ky. — Bourbon fans! Get excited. The Western Kentucky Botanical Garden is hosting a rare bourbon raffle called the Back Woods Brawl and they have seventeen bottles up for grabs. Here’s a look!
Here’s how the raffle (or “brawl”) is going to work. This is winner-take-all. That’s where the word “brawl” comes in. ONE lucky winner is going to win ALL the bottles listed.
One ticket is $100, two tickets are $200, three are $300, and so on. According to The Garden’s brand new executive director, Laurna Strehl, “This is a significant fundraiser and has the potential to be our biggest one ever.”
Laurna, by the way, has been involved with the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden since 2011 and is thrilled to step into her new role. Of course, COVID-19 canceled the annual Back Woods Ball, but they got creative with the Back Woods Brawl! According to Strehl, “For our locals- The Garden hopes to be a wonderful part of your memories. Your memories can come from a special event held here, a family or milestone photo session, or a picnic at one of our picnic tables. The Garden will certainly make Owensboro proud as visitors are able to enjoy and make memories at The Garden. Your contributions are a big part of our Future and are greatly appreciated.”
