Louisville Zoo offers free admission for active and retired military on Veterans Day thanks to T-Mobile

To honor those who are serving and who have served our country in military service, the Zoo is offering active and retired military and their dependents FREE general admission on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 thanks to our sponsor T-Mobile.

Those wishing to participate must simply have proof of military service (including but not limited to: U.S Uniformed Services ID Card, U.S. Uniformed Services Retired ID Card, current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), veterans organization card (i.e., American Legion, VFW), photograph in uniform, wearing the uniform, DD214 and citation or commendation) and present it at the Zoo’s admission windows.

In addition, on Nov. 11, 2020, active, retired military and their dependents (with a military identification card) will receive 10% off gift shop purchases and 50% off food and drink concessions.

T-Mobile will be on Zoo grounds from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with giveaways and information about their latest offer for the military.

Active military receive free admission year-round at the Zoo. Active military dependents and retired military receive 10% off admission year-round. Military personnel is encouraged to check with the Leisure Travel offices at their bases in advance of their visit for other available discounts.

The Zoo is open daily year-round. Fall/winter hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (enjoy until 5 p.m.) and continue through March 20, 2021. The Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. For more information, visit LouisvilleZoo.org.
