Brown-Forman and RNDC partner with Apron to provide COVID-19 relief

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Brown-Forman Corp., the largest American-owned spirit, and wine company with Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), one of America’s largest family-owned distributors, is partnering with APRON, Inc. to provide support and relief to restaurant and bar workers impacted by the recent COVID-19 restrictions, in Brown-Forman’s home market of Kentucky.

This partnership will provide assistance to groceries for qualified service industry workers throughout the state of Kentucky. Brown-Forman and RNDC have pledged $100,000 in December to support these workers. The amount pledged is in addition to donations each company has made to support hospitality workers across the country over the last several months.

Founded in 2011, the mission of APRON is to provide temporary, limited financial relief to professional food and beverage industry workers in the Louisville metro area who work at locally owned establishments and who are experiencing financial distress due to illness, injury or other issues.

Eligible workers can go to  www.aproninc.org to apply.
