Bourbon Fest celebrating 30th anniversary in September

BARDSTOWN, Ky. — The Kentucky Bourbon Festival announced the 30th annual festival will take place Sept. 16-19. The 2021 festival will feature expanded opportunities for bourbon enthusiasts to engage with the most sought-after brands and engaging educational experiences.

Bardstown, which is known as the Bourbon Capital of the World draws thousands of bourbon lovers each year to celebrate the history of distilling America’s native spirit during National Bourbon Heritage Month. Activities were suspended last year because of COVID concerns but virtual events were presented.

Highlights of the festival include an expanded tasting experience with heritage and craft brands, vintage and rare bourbon auction, and the annual World Championship Bourbon Barrel Relay Race bourbon barrel rolling competition.

Festival tickets will be available this summer. For information, go to kybourbonfestival.com.
