Greater Louisville Foundation announces 2021 leadership, new directors

LOUISVILLE, Ky.  – The Greater Louisville Foundation (GLF) announced its leadership, including a new vice chair, as well as two new members that will join its Board of Directors.

Matt Thornton, principal of Thornton Capital, was re-elected chair of the GLF board, while Joe Ventura, chief legal officer at Humana, was elected vice chair. Paul Costel, region manager, Kentucky market of JP Morgan Chase Bank, and Audwin Helton, president of Spatial Data Integrations Inc., will join the GLF board as independent directors.  The GLF board has 13 members, which includes seven independent directors and six GLI representatives.

GLF is a 501(c)3 organization that was formed in 1987 to identify, mobilize and fund programs to address Louisville’s greatest challenges regarding business growth, and increased economic prosperity for all citizens in the Greater Louisville region.  The Foundation supports the key community initiatives identified through Greater Louisville Inc.’s (GLI) strategic planning process. Currently, the GLF funds Live in Lou and GLI’s Workforce and Education Initiatives.
