BURLINGTON, Ky. – Heritage Bank has promoted Bill Marcum to credit manager, where he brings several years of banking experience as well as expertise in credit.
“Bill is a seasoned credit professional primed for a leadership role,” said Peter Weickgenannt, Heritage Bank senior lender, commercial banking. “Since he was recruited to the bank, Bill has made valuable contributions in Credit Administration and built a strong rapport with his team.”
Marcum was studying finance at Northern Kentucky University when he started his banking career as a part-time teller at Clermont Savings Bank. After completing his degree, he worked at the Bank of Kentucky, progressing through retail to branch manager and then working in commercial credit as a senior credit analyst and commercial loan workout officer. He then moved to MainSource bank to be a commercial loan workout officer before joining Heritage Bank in 2015.
