Truseal Technologies, a leading manufacturer of insulating glass products and systems, has added two new production lines at its manufacturing plant in China in order to better serve the Asian market. The production lines were assembled by workers at Truseal’s Barbourville plant, specifically for delivery to the China facility. Although a downturn in the U.S. housing market led to a temporary layoff of 25 employees at the company’s Barbourville plant earlier in this year, a recent increase in housing starts has enabled the company to call back 12 workers and the company hopes to bring back more as the economy improves.
