LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky American Water has announced the appointment of Tricia Sinopole as director of rates and regulatory for Kentucky American Water and Tennessee American Water. In this position, Sinopole will lead and oversee the planning and execution of the rates and regulatory teams for Kentucky American Water and Tennessee American Water.
She will ensure that rate cases, rate mechanism compliance filings, and other key rate and regulatory matters are executed effectively. Sinopole will report to Nick Rowe, president of Kentucky American Water. She joined American Water in 2012 and held various roles including finance manager, financial analyst, and rates and regulatory analyst.
Sinopole most recently served as senior manager of finance for Virginia American Water and Maryland American Water, where she led the business planning and forecasting process, while also ensuring the budget was submitted
within expected growth guidelines.
She holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo., and currently resides in Vienna, Va. with her husband, Tony, and daughter Lily.
