Dana Corp.’s Owensboro plant has resumed operations after closing for several months due to supply and demand issues. The halt in operations resulted from the decision by Toyota – the plant’s primary client – to temporarily suspend production of its Tundra and Sequoia models at its plant in Princeton, Ind., because of reduced demand. With Toyota going back into production on the Sequoia in early November, Dana’s Owensboro plant has reopened with approximately 145 employees. At the beginning of the year, the Owensboro plant employed about 300 people.
