LEXINGTON, Ky. — Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot), a full-service electrical contractor headquartered in Lexington, has promoted Brian Sarrett to senior vice president. He will serve as the senior executive leader of the company’s Mid-Southeast Region.
“The Davis H. Elliot Co. continues to grow and diversify our business offerings, and with growth comes the need for additional leadership support to serve our employee-owners and customers. This change comes as part of our Company’s successional leadership planning, and sets our company up for future success,” stated David Haskins, president & CEO.
Brian Sarrett joined Elliot as operations manager in 2004 following a 15-year career at AEP, an investor-owned utility. After joining Elliot, Sarrett’s abilities in developing customer relationships and influencing employee development, as well as his industry capability, led to him being named vice president of operations in 2007.
His efforts contributed to Elliot increasing service territory market share, strengthened customer relationships nationally, and established the company as a leading contractor in storm restoration projects.
Most recently Sarrett served in the role of vice-president, region director for the Mid-Southeast Region. He attended West Virginia State College, Kennedy Western University, and graduated from the National Institute of Technology. He obtained a degree in electrical engineering technology in 1988.
Sarrett will continue to report directly to President & CEO David Haskins.
