LEXINGTON, Ky. — Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot), a full-service electrical contractor headquartered in Lexington, has promoted Keith Simpson to senior vice president. He will serve as the senior executive leader of the company’s Central Region.
“The Davis H. Elliot Co. continues to grow and diversify our business offerings, and with growth comes the need for additional leadership support to serve our employee-owners and customers. This change comes as part of our Company’s successional leadership planning, and sets our company up for future success,” said David Haskins, president & CEO.
Keith Simpson joined Elliot in 1991 and spent the duration of his career serving in a variety of leadership roles before being promoted to vice president, tasked with leading Elliot’s Central Region.
Simpson attended the University of Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky University, Texas A&M Engineering EES, and completed the Business Administration Certificate Program at the University of Phoenix.
In addition to his educational pursuits, Simpson is a licensed master electrician and a certified electrical contractor in multiple states. He also holds certifications as a certified utility safety professional, IMSA, traffic signal technician, traffic signal inspection, and in fiber optics for intelligent traffic systems.
Simpson will continue to report directly to President & CEO Haskins.
