Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies is closing its plant in Shepherdsville and will move the operations to Indianapolis as part of the company’s plan to consolidate its U.S.-based manufacturing. The Shepherdsville plant produces electronic doorway exit devices sold under the Monarch Hardware and Falcon monikers. The shutdown, which is slated to be complete next month, will affect 60 workers.
