Jimmy Nichols was promoted to the office of President and COO of Houchens Food Group, Inc.
Houchens Industries, Inc. Chairman and CEO, Dion W. Houchins, is pleased to announce the promotion of James K. Nichols to the office of President and Chief Operating Officer, Houchens Food Group, Inc. Mr. Nichols joined Houchens Food Group, Inc. in June 2010 and most recently served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Nichols is also a member of the Houchens Industries, Inc. Board of Directors.
A grocery industry veteran, Mr. Nichols has over 40 years of experience in both retail and wholesale operations. Mr. Nichols has served on many industry-related charitable and civic boards over the years. He currently serves on the boards of Associated Wholesale Grocers and the National Grocers Association.
