FP Packaging Will Add 60 Jobs, Expand its KY Operations

FP International is investing $3 million to add a machine-build operation to its Christian County facility that will result in 60 new machine manufacturing jobs over the next several years.
The plant currently employs 49 people.

FP International designs, manufactures and sells a broad range of protective packaging products and systems for a variety of industries. The company’s packaging products include air-cushion packaging systems, paper cushioning systems, polyethylene foam and bubble mailers, and recycled polystyrene loosefill. FP International CEO and Chairman Arthur Graham said Kentucky’s “friendly business climate” was largely responsible for the company’s decision to expand its manufacturing facility in Hopkinsville.

In addition to its Kentucky plant, FP has manufacturing facilities in California, Delaware, Illinois and Massachusetts and has wholly owned subsidiaries in France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, as well as a sales office in Australia.
