Kris Hayden and Christine Emerson joins German American Bank team

SHELBYVILLE, Ky. — German American Bank announced that the financial services team serving the Shelbyville market area will be growing with the addition of Christine Emerson as Vice President, Treasury Management and Kris Hayden as Market Executive.

Both Emerson and Hayden will drive the delivery of German American Bank’s financial solutions with a focus on building and developing relationships, local decision making, and a strong commitment to the community.

Christine Emerson

Christine Emerson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from a Mid-Continent University. She brings 21 years of banking experience to German American Bank, specializing in cash management and creating customized solutions for businesses.

After starting her career in retail banking, she has spent the past ten years working with area businesses in account services and treasury management. Emerson has a passion for empowering women and promoting financial literacy and has served on various boards and finance committees for non-profits in Central Kentucky and the Louisville area.

Kris Hayden

Kris Hayden comes to German American Bank with 17 years of banking experience, having received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Louisville.

With experience in credit, business development, small business lending and commercial lending throughout his banking career Hayden will serve as an asset to the Shelbyville team. Kris currently serves with numerous community organizations including the Shelbyville Kiwanis Club, Shelby County Chamber and Leadership Shelby. He is a member of Highview Baptist Church in Middletown and is also active in F3 Louisville.
