The Southeast Kentucky Economic Development Corp. (SKED) has closed on a $448,209 low-interest loan with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development. It will be used to assist new and expanding businesses in the region by providing equipment and fixed-asset financing at below-market rates in exchange for job creation.
