Forcht Group Brands Bank Charters Under One Name

First Corbin Bancorp has changed its name to Forcht Bancorp as part of a restructuring announced by its parent company, Forcht Group of Kentucky.
The restructuring combines 10 separate bank charters into one bank operation known as Forcht Bank.

Forcht Bank currently operates 34 banking centers in 11 Kentucky counties. The banks that now come under the Forcht Bank name include: PRP National Bank (Jefferson County), Deposit Bank and Trust (Jefferson), First National Bank of Lexington (Fayette), Boone National Bank (Boone), Somerset National Bank (McCreary and Pulaski), Laurel National Bank (Laurel), Williamsburg National Bank (Whitley),  Tri-County National Bank (Knox), Eagle Bank (Grant), Campbellsville National Bank (Taylor), and Deposit Bank and Trust (Green).

The total assets for Forcht Bancorp now total more than $1 billion, making it one of the top 10 bank holding groups based in Kentucky, according to data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The company has approximately 400 employees.
