BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Houchens Food Group, Inc. President and COO, Jimmy Nichols, is pleased to announce the promotion of David Daughdrill to the position of Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Houchens Food Group, Inc.
In this role, Mr. Daughdrill will be responsible for managing the financial activities of Houchens Food Group, Inc., which include developing plans to increase company profits, managing working capital, analyzing merger and acquisition opportunities, and leading and supervising the Accounting and Finance functions.
Mr. Daughdrill joined the Houchens family as Chief Financial Officer at Southern Recycling, Inc. and transferred to Houchens Food Group, Inc. as Vice President of Finance in 2021.
Before joining Houchens, Mr. Daughdrill worked in public accounting for both Deloitte and BKD, LLP and served as Manager of Operations for a retail automotive group. Mr. Daughdrill serves as treasurer and board member of the Historic RailPark and Train Museum while also volunteering for numerous charities.
Mr. Daughdrill received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Baylor University. David and his wife, Emily, have four children, Ford, Grace, Dave, and Harrison.
