The Community Foundation of Louisville making it easier for students to get financial support

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Pursuing higher education can be costly. That’s why the Community Foundation of Louisville partners with individuals, families, and businesses across our community to create scholarship funds that remove financial barriers for students.

“Having to complete multiple scholarship applications at once is a daunting process for students seeking financial assistance. We make it easy by having students complete one application for numerous scholarship awards,” said Naomi Davis, Scholarship Manager at the Community Foundation of Louisville. The General Scholarship Application allows students to submit one application for the chance to be matched to over 70 scholarships based on their eligibility and financial needs.

Chad Eisenback, a recipient of the Marian Kincaid Warns & Carl A. Warns, Jr. Scholarship, supported his family and pursued his passions thanks to the financial assistance he received from his scholarship award. “My wife and three kids depend on my success in law school,” said Eisenbach. “Advocating for workers’ rights combines my passion for my family and labor law. My kids will enter the workforce, and I am dedicated to fighting for workers’ rights not only for the current workforce but for future generations too.”

The General Scholarship Application is available from December 12, 2022, to March 31, 2023. View the full list of Community Foundation of Louisville scholarship opportunities here.
