Sykes Enterprises will hire nearly double the number of employees originally planned for its Hazard call center, which recently reopened after being closed four years ago. When the Florida-based company announced earlier this year that it would reopen its Hazard facility, plans called for hiring around 200 employees. At the reopening ceremony held in late October, company officials announced that they now expect to employ 400 workers by the end of the year. Sykes provides outsourced customer management services to clients worldwide.
