University of Louisville President James Ramsey joined Student Government Association President Justin Brandt and dozens of other students for a “topping off” ceremony as the final, large steel beam was lifted to the top of a new Student Recreation Center, Tuesday, Feb. 5 on 4th St. next to Minardi Hall, Belknap campus. When finished this fall, the $37.5 million, 128,000 s.f. center will house a huge exercise facility; six basketball courts; multiactivity court for indoor soccer and floor hockey; artificial-turf field for recreational use and physical education classes.
