“Cherie is a rising star at LifePoint and brings a stellar background in both clinical and operational leadership to Clark Regional Medical Center,” said Scott Raplee, president of LifePoint’s Central Group, of which Clark Regional is a part. “Her success in recruiting physicians, expanding services and improving constituency satisfaction and operational efficiency will certainly be an asset to Clark Regional Medical Center and the Winchester community. We are fortunate to have her on the team.”

Sibley has served in executive leadership roles at three LifePoint facilities. She comes to CRMC from 250-bed Danville Regional Medical Center in Danville, Va., where she has served as chief operating officer since 2010. Previously, she served as CNO of Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville, Ala., and as CNO and COO of Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma, Ala. During her tenure in Danville, Va., she recruited more than 20 physicians to the hospital, improved physician satisfaction and assisted with the implementation of the Duke Quality Oversight program. She implemented hospitalist programs at both Vaughan Regional and Danville Regional, and directed numerous construction projects, including the most recent preliminary plans for a free-standing Emergency Department in Danville.

“Cherie comes highly recommended and will surely be a tremendous asset to our hospital,” said Allen Cawley, chairman of the Clark Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees. “I am confident that she is a good fit for our community and the right person to lead our hospital into the future.”

Sibley holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree from University of North Alabama and a Master in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration from South University in Montgomery, Ala. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and was a member of the inaugural class of the Advisory Board Fellowship Program in 2009.  A recognized leader within the company, Sibley was awarded LifePoint Hospitals’ Fleetwood Award for extraordinary leadership in 2008.

Part of LifePoint Hospitals, Clark Regional Medical Center is an acute care community hospital with more than 100 physicians, 400 employees and 75 volunteers.
