Sitel, a global business process outsourcing provider, will be adding 500 jobs at its Glasgow call center to support a new contract with Best Buy.
Sitel, which currently employs about 36 employees at the Glasgow facility, will be managing inbound and outbound calls, e-mail and interactive chat services for Best Buy nationwide. Sitel will be hiring both call center agents and management-level positions to support the contract.
Sitel provides customer care for many of the world’s leading brands and has more than 52,000 associates and 135 facilities across the globe.
