Louisville’s artisan Distilled Spirits Epicenter offers Gin Enthusiast class on Nov. 9

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 16, 2013) —  On Saturday, Nov. 9, Moonshine University at Distilled Spirits Epicenter will offer a two-hour Gin Enthusiast class that will explore the classifications and botanicals of gin, as well as its resurgence in popularity in the United States. The Gin Enthusiast class, like Moonshine University’s Bourbon Enthusiast classes, is suitable for both novices and connoisseurs. The afternoon will include a lesson on the making and history of gin, sensory evaluations of different types of gins and gin botanicals and a distillery tour. Class participants will also have the opportunity to work together to create a custom gin based on their favorite botanicals.
