LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 2, 2014) — Mayor Jim Gray today invited UK basketball fans everywhere to take part in a public meeting and public survey focusing on plans for the fan experience inside Rupp Arena.
“We’re having a public meeting to talk a little about plans for Rupp, but most importantly to hear from fans…what kinds of changes would they like to see inside the arena?” Gray asked.
The mayor urged fans of UK basketball to complete the fan experience survey on-line at ruppdistrict.com.
The public meeting is set for 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the downtown Hyatt Regency Ballroom. Fans can stop by on their way to the Mississippi State game.
The meeting also will be live-streamed at ruppdistrict.com. Architects and city officials will be online from 6 to 8 p.m. to answer questions submitted through social media.
