American Airlines announces new nonstop service between Louisville and New York/LaGuardia

PrintLOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 17, 2014)—American Airlines has announced plans to begin new nonstop jet service from Louisville to New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

The airline will operate three daily flights using 44-48 seat regional jet aircraft. Customers can begin booking tickets for the new routes on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, for travel beginning April 1.

With this new service, American and its partner airline, US Airways, will offer a total of 29 daily flights to seven destinations: Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Miami,  New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.

Louisville International Airport now offers nonstop service to 22 destinations and one-stop connections to more than 120 cities worldwide.
