Mid-America Trucking Show generates more than $14.2M of economic impact in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 20, 2014)– Trucking professionals from across the country and around the world parks in Louisville on Thursday, March 27 through Saturday, March 29 for the Mid-America Trucking Show, which generates more than $14.1 million of economic impact for the Louisville area.

This industry-only event is the annual forum for the heavy-duty trucking industry, a place where industry representatives and trucking professionals can meet face-to-face to discuss the latest products and services. The Mid-America Trucking Show is one of the top trade shows in the country and ranked 10th on Trade Show Executive magazine’s Gold 100 for 2012. More than 70,000 people are expected to attend from all 50 states and 70 countries.

More than 1,000 exhibitors will showcase everything from tires to trailers, including all major truck and engine manufacturers, trailer manufacturers and other product and service providers.

The Mid-America Trucking Show offers opportunities to network with Fortune 500 companies, seminars and a concert headlined by Grammy Award-winning artist Gretchen Wilson for attendees only.

The show will be conducted in all areas of the Kentucky Exposition Center. Trucking industry professionals can register online or at the door for $10. Show hours are Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for VIPs and open to all industry professionals from 1 to 6 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
