Tattoo Arts Convention to bring hundreds to Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 9, 2014)– The Louisville Tattoo Arts Convention will bring a crowd of attendees with colorful tattoos to fill the halls of the Kentucky International Convention Center on Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18.  More than 300 of the best tattoo artists in the world will be giving tattoos and showing off their work.

In addition belly dancers, side show acts and daily tattoo contests will be held. Entertainment includes Enigma and Serene Rose, suspension acts by Misguided Youth Suspension and The Inkllusionist. There will be special guest appearances by James Vaughn fromSpike’s Ink Master and Alli Baker from Oxygen’s Best Ink.

Seminars for tattoo artists will cover various topics including microdermal, sleeve construction and fundamentals of tattooing.

The show is open Friday 2 p.m. to midnight, Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 per day or $40 for a 3-day pass and can be purchased at the door. Children 12 and under are free.
