EKU, Berea College to co-host Eastern Apiculture Society Conference

RICHMOND, Ky. (July 3, 2014) — Eastern Kentucky University and Berea College will co-host the Eastern Apiculture Society conference from July 28 to Aug. 1.

The conference is an international event that features high-caliber apiculture researchers, an apiary, a lab, and a series of evening social events. In addition, a vendor show will feature Kentucky bee supply companies.

This year’s conference theme is “Esprit de Bee,” a tribute to Kentucky’s National Guard agriculture development teams, specifically their apiculture leadership. A modest registration fee is required.

Pre-registration by July 11 is $25 per day with EAS membership, $50 without membership/
