Tickets sales open for Black Jacket Symphony’s note for note presentation of ‘Dark Side of the Moon’

LEXINGTON, KY (March 23, 2012) — The Black Jacket Symphony makes its Kentucky debut on Thursday, April 26th, performing Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” live at the Lexington Opera House, note for note, sound for sound, exactly as it was on the record. The music group performs the next night in Ashland, Ky., at the Paramount Arts Center.

The Black Jacket Symphony has performed for sold out audiences throughout the Southeast and is excited to bring its incredible music, light and video experience to Kentucky. Tickets went on sale Friday, March 23rd at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com, at the Lexington Opera House Box Office, or by calling 800-745-3000.

The Black Jacket Symphony offers a unique concert experience by recreating classic albums in a live performance setting with a first-class lighting and video production. A selected album is performed in its entirety by a group of handpicked musicians specifically selected for each album. With no sonic detail being overlooked, the musicians do whatever it takes to musically reproduce the album. Following the album and a brief intermission, the Black Jacket Symphony returns to the stage to perform a collection of greatest hits by the evening’s artist.
