CVG to expand service to Florida, Arizona

New destinations to Mesa, Ft. Lauderdale

cvgCOVINGTON, Ky. (July 15, 2014) — Allegiant Travel Company announces additional service from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Phoenix – Mesa (AZA) and Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) and expanded service to Orlando (ORD), Punta Gorda (PDG), and Tampa Bay/St.Pete (PIE). Allegiant launched service from CVG in February with two flights per week to Ft.Myers/Punta Gorda and two flights per week to Orlando/Sanford.

Starting in October, passengers can travel to Phoenix twice per week on Wednesday and Saturday; Ft. Lauderdale four times per week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday; Orlando four times per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday;  Punta Gorda four times per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; and Tampa Bay/St. Pete four times per week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Allegiant’s aircraft fleet includes the 156 seat A319, the 166 seat MD-86 and the 177 seat A320

With the addition of Phoenix – Mesa airport, CVG will offer either year-round or seasonal non-stop service to 56 destinations, more than any other airport in the Tri-State region.
