SBA approves mentor-protégé agreement between Humana Military and Professional Management Enterprises

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 23, 2012) BUSINESS WIRE — Humana Military Healthcare Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), announces it has entered a one-year U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Mentor-Protégé agreement with Professional Management Enterprises, Inc (PME) of Indianapolis, Indiana, assisting the company in improving and successfully competing for Federal Government contracts. PME is an SBA section 8(a), service disabled Veteran-owned small business offering contract Staffing Optimization Solutions (SOS) for contract staffing optimization.

As a mentor, Humana Military will work collaboratively with PME providing both general and technical business knowledge while building a mutually beneficial business relationship for future Government contract offerings.
