Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show returns to Lexington Center & Rupp Arena October 27, 2012

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 28, 2012) – The Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show  returns to Rupp Arena and Lexington Center on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. Now in its fourth year, the Incredible Food Show is the event of the year for everyone who loves food, cooking and entertaining.  The show will feature more than 100 exhibitors including specialty food companies, caterers, restaurants, kitchen planners and appliance manufacturers.

The 2012 show will include two cooking presentations by Food Network celebrity chef Tyler Florence, as well as cooking demonstrations by award-winning local and regional chefs.

Tyler Florence has had 15-plud years as a Food Network star and he has starred in such series as How to Boil Water, a cooking show for novices; Food 911, his hugely popular “recipe rescue” show; his signature series, Tyler’s Ultimate as well as The Great Food Truck Race. Florence has also hosted numerous other Food Network shows and specials, including Planet FoodAll American Festivals and My Country, My Kitchen. He is a regular guest on the TODAY Show, CNN, The ViewThe Tonight ShowOprah, Access Hollywood, Extra, Good Morning America, among others. Tyler is currently a contributing editor at House Beautiful Magazine, and designed their Kitchen of the Year at Rockefeller Center in 2011.  Chef Florence will take the stage in Rupp Arena for two presentations at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show will also include demonstrations on the Sullivan University Cooking Stage national and regional cookbook authors, culinary seminars ranging from knife skills to holiday entertaining, a wine pavilion featuring local wineries and The Marketplace featuring more than 100 exhibitors sampling and selling products.
