RICHMOND, Ky. (Aug. 22, 2014) — Eastern Kentucky University’s Center for Career and Cooperative Education will host an open house at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3 on the fourth floor of the Whitlock Building.
Tour of the new office space will be offered.
During the 2013-14 academic year, the Center served 1,231 students with individual appointments. More than 900 students worked in co-op or internship positions at almost 600 companies, with more in part-time jobs. The Center also partnered with 329 new employers over the past year.
A pilot a program this fall is designed to build working relationships with incoming first-year students, engaging them in a four-year career exploration and development process.
