The Teaching Art Together grant gives Kentucky teachers the opportunity to collaborate with practicing, professional artists from the arts council’s Teaching Artist Directory to design and implement one- to four-week residencies.

Residencies can cover a multitude of topics and mediums but are established to help teachers incorporate arts into the curriculum long after the residency has ended.

The Teaching Art Together grant guidelines and application can be found on the arts council website. For more information about applying, contact Jean St. John, arts education director, at 502-564-8110, ext. 486, or via email at [email protected].
